At Normanhurst Public School, we have a collective responsibility for student learning and wellbeing. We believe that positive, respectful relationships throughout our community are imperative to ensure optimum conditions for learning.
Our continued aims are to
- engage students in the Positive Behaviour for Learning program and ensure its alignment with the Department of Education's Student Behaviour Strategy.
- implement a consistent, school-wide approach to promote positive mental and social wellbeing.
- implement our Reconciliation Action Plan.
- increase student voice through Student Representative Council structures and use this feedback in school planning.
- ensure beneficial and respectful partnerships with families and the wider local community.
